New 75th Anniversary Collector's Album

The Pioneers have recently completed the “75 Anniversary - Our Best to You Album” containing some of their most timeless hits, Cool Water, Cimarron, Ghost Riders in the Sky, Everlasting Hills of Oklahoma, Tumbling Tumbleweed and more. The sound is vintage Sons of the Pioneers but in pure, full, robust quality - the results of state-of-the-art recording which far surpasses older recordings of the same songs.

75 Years On the Trail

The Sons of the Pioneers are celebrating a heritage of being the Icons of Western Music for 75 years. Their rich harmony and unique voicing gives the group a one-of-a-kind brand that is distinctive and readily recognizable. Some say their original members Roy Rogers, Bob Nolan and Tim Spencer created the sound known as Western Music. Doug Green of the popular "Riders in the Sky" said, "Any of us who sing western music...it all goes back to the Pioneers." The Pioneers have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Cowbow Hall of Fame, the Texas Swing Hall of Fame and designated "National Treasures" by the Smithsonian Insitute. The quality of their music today remains the "gold standard."

The six man group is a blend of heritage and new blood. Forty-year member and "trail boss" Luther Nallie along with thirty-year member Gary LeMaster anchor the group. The four younger members have their own impressive credentials. Ricky Boen is the 1983 World Champion fiddle player. Ken Lattimore holds a degree in music. Before joining the group Mark Abbott was a sought after studio musician and Randy Rudd was a top vocalist in Las Vegas and Branson venues.

Bob-Nolen Agency - Booking Agents

Last month the Pioneers selected the Bob-Nolen Agency as their exclusive booking agent. They are currently booking for their Diamond Jubilee Tour in 2010 although many summer dates are taken. Once booked a venue can be provided a media pack consisting of digital photos, sample news releases and radio and television spots to assist in promotions. For competitive pricing information and other details contact the Bob-Nolen Agency at bobnolen@sonsofthepioneers.org. We will work hard with you to make your event a success.

Principles in Bob-Nolen Agency LLC are Bob Hubbard and Nolen Berry. Bob is the former lead singer for the Foggy River Boys and also one of the original members of the famous Jordanaires. Nolen is a retired judge and lawyer who specialized in entertainment law and commercial trial practice.
